James Redford

James E. Redford, 73, 153 S. Washington St., Pennville, died Friday morning at Jay County Hospital.
Born in Geneva, he was the son of Carl and Vera (Price) Redford. He served for eight years in the U.S. Army and retired in 1999 from All American Homes in Decatur.
He was a member of the Geneva Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the River of Life Church, Portland.
Surviving are his wife, Audrey; two sons, James Redford and James Douglas Beeson, both of Portland; two daughters, Glenda Clay and Deanna Simones, both of Portland; two sisters, Christine Potter, Fort Wayne, and Catherine Alice Redford, Maryland; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services with military rites will be conducted by Geneva V.F.W. Post 6751 at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Westlawn Cemetery, Geneva.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland. Memorials may be made to the family.
