The following is the menu for Monday, June 27, through Friday, July 1, planned by representatives of LifeStream Services Inc.    Anyone 60 years of age or older may attend the LifeStream nutrition sites in the seven counties served by the agency. Spouses may attend regardless of age but reservations should be made with the site manager 24 hours in advance for a meal. A suggested donation of $3 is encouraged for each meal, but not required.
The Portland nutrition site is located at Portland Place, 430 W. Lafayette St., Portland. Transportation is provided by The New Interurban, LifeStream Services.
Reservations may be made by calling the main office in Yorktown at (800) 589-1121 and asking for the nutrition department. All meals are served with coffee, tea, or milk.    This week’s menu is:    
Monday — Smoked sausage on wheat bun, pinto beans, coleslaw, hot applesauce.
Tuesday — Sweet and sour chicken, rice, mixed vegetables, fruit compote, bread.
Wednesday — Beef and bean burrito with cheese, cheesy hominy, tomato medley, tropical fruit.
Thursday — Barbecue turkey on wheat bun, macaroni salad, greens, pineapple crisp.
