Baseball tryouts set
Tryouts for the Jay County junior high baseball team will be March 13.

Junior League sign-ups scheduled
Sign-up sessions for Dunkirk Junior League tee-ball, baseball and softball are being held on Saturdays at West Jay Community Center.
Those interested in playing can sign up at WJCC from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on March 5, 12 and 19. Registration forms are available at www.dunkirkballpark.com.

Fort baseball, softball registration set
Registration forms are now available for the Fort Recovery Park and Recreation Department summer baseball and softball program.
Forms were distributed at local schools, and are also available at the village hall. The registration fee is $10, and forms and money must be turned in at the village hall on March 5 or March 19 from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

5K scheduled at Monroe Central
The Psi Iota Xi Literacy 5K run/walk will be April 16 at Monroe Central High School.
The event will begin with the mile run at 9:30 a.m. followed by the 5K at 10:30 a.m. The entry fee is $15 for adults and $12 for students for those who register before April 1. Late registration is $18 for adults and $15 for students.
