Gregory Milligan
Gregory Tom Milligan, 50, Granger, a native of Portland, died Friday at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Milligan was born Nov. 15, 1952 in Portland to William and Mary (White) Milligan. He was married on May 18, 1974 to Cheryl Hampson, who survives. He was a member of the South Bend, Morris Park and Knollwood county clubs, and was a former president of the Michiana High School Hockey League and the Junior Irish Soccer Club Committee.
He also was a member of the National Golf Buyers Association, a former president of the Knollwood County Club Board of Directors and at the age of 18 was club champion at the Portland Country Club. He was also the owner and operator of Bobick’s Pro Shop golf equipment store for 20 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Amy Milligan, Mishawaka; three sons, Jason Milligan, South Bend, Ryan Milligan, Osceola, and Jeremy Milligan, Granger; two brothers, Doug Milligan, Geneva, and Bill Milligan, Portland; and three grandchildren.
Services are set for Monday at 10:30 p.m. at the Christ the King Lutheran Church, Granger, with the Rev. Steven Schwier officiating. Friends may call at the Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Monday.
