Harness racing scheduled
Jay County Fairgrounds will host a day of harness racing Oct. 9.
The event will include 2- and 3-year-olds as part of the Indiana Sired Fair Circuit. Post time is 11 a.m., and admission is free.

Halloween 5K is Oct. 30
Randolph County YMCA will host the Halloween 5K Oct. 30 at Winchester Speedway.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the race to follow at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $15.

The Rainbow Lake 5K will be held Nov. 27 in Geneva.
