Turkey Shoot is Sunday
The Willshire Sportsman’s Club will host a Turkey Shoot Sunday, Oct. 10.
The event at the sportsman’s club grounds, 2 miles east of Willshire, Ohio, on Ohio 81, will begin at noon. Adults will use 12-gauge shotguns, and children 16-and-younger will use 20-gauge shotguns. Shells will be provided.
Church league meeting is Thursday
There will be an organizational meeting for Jay County’s Church Basketball League Thursday.
The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. at Jay Community Center. Anyone interested in playing or entering a team should attend.

Randolph County YMCA will host the Halloween 5K Oct. 30 at Winchester Speedway.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the race to follow at 9 a.m. The entry fee is $15.

The Rainbow Lake 5K will be held Nov. 27 in Geneva.
