Scrapbooking class scheduled (2/15/05)
Taking Note
As part of the hands-on program for adults, the Jay County Public Library will have a scrapbooking class on Tuesday, March 1, at 6:30 p.m. Shelia Alger will demonstrate how to create and decorate scrapbook pages using photos and rubber stamps.
The cost is $5 and registration is required by Friday, Feb. 25. For more information or to register, call the library at (260) 726-7890.
DEAN’S LIST
Indiana Wesleyan students Amber Alberson and Katie Alberson have both made the national dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2004-05 academic year.
ELECTED
Aaron Hollowell, a 2002 graduate of Union City Community High School, was elected president of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity for the 2005 year at Wabash College in Crawfordsville.
He has previously served as social chairman, pledge director, alumni relations chairman and vice president. He was also elected to the Wabash College student senate as co-chairman of campus activities.
His parents are Steve and Luanna Hollowell, Winchester.[[In-content Ad]]
