The Jay County High School graduating class of 1979 is in search of the following class members for its reunion on Saturday, July 20, in Portland:
Robert Doane, Julie Hatzell, Kay Wright, Tony Bedwell, Brian Whitesell, Jayma Clark, Drema Wilson, Tony Miller, Scott Kesler, Paula Journey, Rob Hornbaker, Sharon Smith, Sherry White, Charles “Junior” Smith, Dan Haines, Patricia “T.C” White, Faith Bright, Rex Turner, Bruce Lyons and Tim Stoker.

The Book Discussion Group will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at Jay County Public Library to discuss the book “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail” by Cheryl Strayed.
Senior Reads, for those 55 and older, will meet Wednesday to discuss the book “Bridge to Terabithia” by Katherine Paterson.
Hands wanted
The Stars in the Park Talent Competitions will be held on Thursdays — July 18 and 25 and Aug. 1, 8 and 16 — at Hudson Family Park in Portland.
The Jay County Chamber of Commerce is in need of three stage hands for each of the performances. To volunteer, call (260) 726-4481.[[In-content Ad]]
