Selvey gets honorable mention

Jay County’s Kyle Selvey has been named honorable mention on the IHSBCA Class 4A All-State baseball team.
Selvey was a standout for the Patriots this year and will be a senior at Jay County High School this fall.

Minor League girls
Frontline Construction topped First Bank of Berne 8-3 this week. Justice Day had two hits and scored one run for Frontline. Grace Brewster and Lexie Ferguson each had one hit and scored one run.
Jayden Claytor, Hannah Clayton, and Gwen Butcher each had hits for First Bank of Berne.

Fort falls 7-1
Fort Recovery fell to Coldwater 7-1 in ACME play Thursday.
Coldwater limited Fort Recovery to three hits.
Fort Recovery next plays Celina at 4 p.m. Sunday in the second game of the opening round of the Mercer County ACME tournament. The winner of Sunday’s game will play Coldwater at 6 p.m. Tuesday.[[In-content Ad]]
