Senior Day at WJCC (5/24/03)

The West Jay Community Center will have many activities throughout the day on Wednesday, May 28, for Glass Days Senior Day.

• 8-10 a.m. — Coffee and donuts and door prizes.

• 9:15-10 a.m. — Judy Rust from LifeStream Services Inc. will speak about resources available to seniors for independent living and caregiving programs.

• 10-11 a.m. — Bingo with donated gifts.

• 11:30 a.m.-noon — Free lunch provided by Gamma Nu Sorority.

• 1-3 p.m. — Euchre.

3:30 p.m. — Country and gospel sing with Cloyd and Betty Earhart.

SHRINE CLINIC

The Mizpah Shrine will conduct a free screening clinic to identify children who may benefit from orthopedic and burn care provided by Shrine Hospitals.

The free clinic will be held Saturday, June 7, from 1-3 p.m. at Blackford Community Hospital, Hartford City.

Any child who is 18 or under who has problems with their bones, joints or muscles, or problems associated with healed burns are encouraged to come to determine if they qualify for free, expert medical treatment.[[In-content Ad]]
