Simos couple to renew vows
Mr. and Mrs. James Simos, Redkey, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in a private ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 27, officiated by the couple’s grandson, Pastor Justin Simos.
An open house for friends and family will follow the ceremony from 2 to 4 p.m. in the First Community Baptist Church of Redkey Fellowship Hall. The couple requests that gifts be omitted.
Jim married Loretta Hickey on Nov. 12, 1954, in Portland. Jim retired from Borg Warner in Muncie and Loretta is a homemaker.
The couple are members of the First Community Baptist Church of Redkey.
They are the parents of Nick (wife Carol) Simos, Mrs. Mike (Jamia) Oakley and Mrs. Randy (Fonda) Miller. They also have eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
