Skivers celebrate 40th (07/01/06)
Longtime Jay County residents Bill and Carolyn (Mark) Skiver, 2884 S. Blaine Pike, Portland, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
They were married on July 2, 1966, at West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland by the Rev. Kail Ruffner.
Carolyn is branch manager at Crossroads Financial Federal Credit Union, Portland, and Bill is a controller at Portland Forge.
Mr. and Mrs. Skiver are the parents of two children, Rob Skiver, Fishers, and Mandy Cassin, Greenwood.
The couple will celebrate with a family trip to Grassy Key, Florida in the fall.[[In-content Ad]]
