Smiths celebrate 50th (12/01/07)
Mr. and Mrs. Max Smith, 6185 E. Ind. 26, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 8 with an open house from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Portland Lions Club, 307 East 100 North, Portland.
Max married Mary M. Monroe on Dec. 8, 1957.
Mary works at Cooper Foods in St. Henry, Ohio, and Max is retired from F.C.C. Indiana Inc.
The couple are the parents of Jim Smith, Fort Wayne, Larry Smith, Youngstown, Ohio, Mrs. Dennis (Sherry) Garke and Mrs. Dennis (Brenda) Kaup, both of Fort Recovery. They have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
