Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Eugene Smith, 206 East 200 South, Portland, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary today.
The former Edna Marie Tucker and Clyde Smith were married June 13, 1942, at the home of Rev. Clarence Marchant.
They are lifetime residents of Jay County where Clyde retired from Sheller-Globe after 37 years.
They are the parents of Mrs. Gary (Phyllis Sue) Trobridge, Portland, Tommy Eugene Smith, Rochester, Mich., and Mrs. Robert (Brenda Marie) DeWitt, Portland. They also have seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
