Longtime Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Smith, 315 W. Eighth St., Portland, are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary today (Tuesday, June 14). Samuel married Josephine Castillo on June 14, 1975, at Fort Recovery Church of Christ by the Rev. Richard Bailey.
Samuel works for the city of Portland and Josephine is a cook for the Jay School Corporation.
They are the parents of Mrs. Derek (Betty) Manson, Portland, and Lucas, Zeb and Tashina Smith, all at home. They also have two grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
