Carl and Jamma Smithson
Carl Edwin and Jamma Lee Smithson, Ridgeville, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.
Carl married Jamma Lee May in 1950 at Bear Creek Friends Church in Winchester. They are both graduates of Ridgeville High School and attend Calvary United Methodist Church in Ridgeville.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Carl retired from General Telephone after 40 years.
The couple are the parents of Lorrisa Bousman (husband: Jerry) and Paul Smithson (wife: Terri), both of Ridgeville, and Nicholas Smithson (wife: Diane), Shreveport, La. They have seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Their children are requesting a card shower, with cards being sent to 105 S. Portland St., Ridgeville, IN 47380.[[In-content Ad]]
