Starfires roll over UC
South Adams roundup
UNION CITY — South Adams’ boys tennis team improved to 6-2 Wednesday, giving up just nine games in a 5-0 victory over the Union City Indians.
Alex Huber and Scott Hoeppner turned in shutouts at No. 1 and 3 singles respectively. Mark Muselman won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
In doubles action, Reid Zurcher and Kegan Sprunger won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2. The No. 1 Starfire duo of Ian Frank and Derek Schwartz earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory.
Spikers fall
ROCKFORD, Ohio — The host Parkway Panthers defeated South Adams in three games, winning all of them 25-10.
Taylor Farlow had 12 digs and four kills in the defeat. Chelsea Bollenbacher added seven kills and seven digs.[[In-content Ad]]
