Stone honored

Portland's Betty Stone has been honored by Lifestream Services with the Golden Hoosier Award.
Stone, a cancer survivor, is one of 16 Golden Hoosiers being recognized this week by the Indiana Division of Aging.
Retired from WPGW, Stone has been a State of the Heart Hospice volunteer for a decade.
In addition, she volunteers at Bryant Wesleyan Church, works with Kids Hope at Bloomfield Elementary School, and is a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, Xi Delta Delta chapter in Portland.
She is also involved with the Jay County Hospital Prime Time progam and the Jay County Historical Society.[[In-content Ad]]
