Stress workshop planned at library (03/19/04)

The Jay County Public Library will be having a stress workshop on Tuesday, March 30, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Learn how to identify
. if you are a perfectionist and exhaust yourself to be perfect
. if you need to be in full control at all times
. if you believe to risk failure is unthinkable
plus many other common stressors that can potentially affect your physical and emotional well being.
The workshop will be presented by the Jay County Purdue Extension Consumer and Family Science Educator, Bonnie Coon.

BE A HOSPICE VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are needed to work with terminally ill Hospice patients. Hospice programs exist to support families through difficult times, providing physical, emotional, social and spiritual support. Volunteers play an important role in that process.
Ball Memorial Hospital Hospice will hold a two day training class for interested volunteers at The Cancer Center at Ball Memorial Hospital on April 19 and April 26 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Call for more information or to register at (765) 747-4273. The registration deadline is April 12.
DISNEY TO VISIT IVY TECH
Recruiters from the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. will be visiting the Ivy Tech State College Campus in Fort Wayne on Tuesday, April 13 with a formal presentation at 4 p.m. Interviews will be given after the presententation.
They are searching for qualified students to serve as interns at the Walt Disney World Resort for the 2004 fall semester. Internships are available in the areas of Operations, Culinary, Full-Service Food and Beverage, Quick-Service Food and Beverage, Merchandising, Recreation, Custodial and Hospitality.
