Students named to honor roll at WJMS (11/02/06)

These West Jay Middle School students made the honor roll for the first nine week grading period.
Making the all A honor roll in sixth grade were Audrey Hall, Clayton Scott and Shelby Wendel.
Students making the A-B honor roll were Tyler Back, Lynsay Buckland, Brittany Clevenger, Kennedi Craw, Blake Crouch, Zach Curtis, Jason Farmer, Lainelee Flowers, Courtney Knight, Shane Mercer, Lee Mock, Laura Morrison, Macey Patton, Megan Price, Raistlin Rice, Rebecca Wallace and Jordan Wolford.
Making the all A honor roll in seventh grade were Devin Conatser, Morton Garringer, Caz Lawhorn, Marissa Murrell, Melinda Penrod, Stephen Scott and Matthew Shrack.
Students making the A-B honor roll in seventh grade were Justin Buckmaster, Kenny Burks, Taylor Caldwell, Jessica Chittum, Adam Coleman, Alexis Doughty, Halie Fields, Dylan Friddle, Chance Fuller, Aaron Helm, Tiffany Ingle, Zach Johnson, Mackenzie McIntire, Tiffany Moore, Jessica Ooten, Megan Roush, Kelsey Sell, Dustin Selvey, Shannon Springer and Haley Tomlinson.
Making the eighth grade all A honor roll was Tyler Claycomb.
Students making the A-B honor roll in eighth grade were Taylor Burris, Brooke Byers, Dezi Clay, Haley Franklin, Candra Garrett, Spencer Grady, Anneliese Jetmore, Samantha Rhodehamel and Dakota Steed.
Benefit planned
A benefit dinner to help with medical and other expenses for Mike and Christy Daniels will be held Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Redkey Nazarene Church Family Center, 801 W. High Street.
The Daniels' baby, Kenneth Walter, was born Aug. 22 with several medical problems and remains in Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Christy is staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Indianapolis.
Holiday bazaar
The 28th annual holiday bazaar will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at South Adams High School in Berne.
More than 100 vendors will be selling a variety of homemade crafts and a photographer will be taking holiday portraits.
The bazaar is sponsored by the Swiss Heritage Society and there will be a $1 donation at the door.

The Cinncinnati Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped has a collection of audio-described video titles available for visually impaired people. These videos contain a soundtrack with narration that describes the movie.
