Students named to WJ honor roll

The following students made the honor roll at West Jay Middle School for the third nine-week grading period:

Making the A honor roll in sixth grade was Courtney Rickmeyer.

Students in sixth grade making the A-B honor roll were Devyn Alexander, Travis Barton, Lance Ferguson, Julia Garringer, Krysta Grayson, Drew Huffman, Emily Jobe, Ellie Moore-Snyder, Jacob Patterson, Morgan Phillips, Joshua Vaughn and Emilie Walter.

Making the A honor roll in seventh grade were Brody Barcus, Noah Claycomb and Ashley Lowe.

Students in seventh grade making the A-B honor roll were Emily Back, Mitch Bennett, Morgan Brown, Taylor Campbell, Dakotah Chambers, Lily Corcoran, Lydia Dotson, Courtney Finnerty, Vernon Goodman, Dakotah Hildebrandt, Bryttani Knight, Kay Morgan, Alexis Murrell, Mariah Schaadt, Charles Shreeve, Kristen Simons, Triston VanSkyock, Michael Walter and Tyra Westlake.

Students in eighth grade making the A-B honor roll were Tiffany Barton, Brea Burcham, Rylee Clemmons, Kimbra Edwards, Elliot Elkins, Jenna Ferguson, Keenan James, Takoa Knight, Evan Masters, Charles McClain and Ashley Motter.

Zonya to speak

As part of Wellness IN Schools, Zonya Foco will present "Fit Families for Life" on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Jay County High School Auditorium.
