Swim party scheduled

Jay County Public Library will have a pool party on Saturday for children and teens who reached their reading goals in the summer reading contest.
The party will be held from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. at the Portland Pool and is sponsored by the Portland Evening Optimists. Reward bags will be given and refreshments will be available.
Anyone not attending the party may pick up their gift bags after Aug. 2 at the library. For more information, call the library at (260) 726-7890.
NCGLNAC classes
National Center for Great Lakes Native American Culture in Portland will offer classes for children 6 and older the week of Aug 2 through 6 in the Women’s Building at Jay County Fairgrounds.
Classes will be available for children 6 and older and those 12 and older.

Dunkirk concert
Mix-Factory will perform a free concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Webster-Depot Park in Dunkirk. Members Craig Selvey, Jeff Irving and Lora Armstrong (from WERK radio) will perform hits from the 60’s to today.
The concert will be sponsored and hosted by Dunkirk Elks Lodge No. 1776.[[In-content Ad]]
