Swiss Stitchers holding show

The Swiss Stitchers Quilt Guild of Berne will have its annual Swiss Days Quilt Show on Thursday, July 26, from 6 to 8 p.m.; Friday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, July 28, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the  South Adams School Cafeteria.
Anyone wanting to show a quilt may bring it to the school on Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m.

Leader conference
Julie Knapke, Portland, was a counselor at the 4-H Junior Leader Conference  at the University of Indianapolis.
She is a sophomore at Purdue University majoring in agribusiness.

Dean’s list
Sharon Dirksen, Portland, was named to the dean’s list at Bluffton (Ohio) University for the spring term.
Emily J. Franks, a 2009 graduate of Jay County High School, was named to the dean’s list at the University of Indianapolis for the second semester. She is the daughter of Greg and Cathy Franks.
Kevin Dirksen, Bryant, has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne for the spring semester. He is majoring in nursing.[[In-content Ad]]
