Whitewater Valley Railroad is offering a special evening for sweethearts this Valentine's Day.
"Rails to Romance" train to dinner will leave Grand Central Station in downtown Connersville on Friday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m. or Saturday, Feb. 13, at 5 p.m.
The train will travel to Laurel where a home-style dinner, including dessert and a drink, will be served at the Laurel Hotel Restaurant.
The cost for the all-inclusive trip is $39 per person. To make reservations, call (765) 825-2054 or visit www.whitewatervalleyrr.org.
Grand Central Station is located at 455 Market St., behind the Fayette County Courthouse.

The Historic Whitewater Valley Railroad's Annual Training Classes will begin Feb. 6 at the South Connersville Yard Complex at 300 S. Eastern Ave.
Anyone wanting to learn how a railroad really operates can take the hands-on classes that include classroom instruction, practice in train operations, signaling and switching and an introduction to diesel and steam locomotive operation.
Trainees will also have practice in coupling cars and the opportunity to operate a full size historic diesel locomotive.
Classes will he held each Saturday from 9:01 a.m. until 1:01 p.m. until March 27. There is a $15 charge for printed materials.
