Thorntons celebrate 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Thornton, 7686 East 300 North, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. A family luncheon will be held at Romer's Catering Party Room in St. Henry, Ohio, with an open house from 3 until 5 p.m.

Harvey Thornton and the former Mary Schoen were married on Feb. 27, 1960, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sharpsburg, Ohio.

They are the parents of three children, Roger (wife: Virginia) Thornton, Wapakoneta, Ohio, Carol (husband: Dale) Ranly, Coldwater, Ohio, and Susan (husband: Joe) Reddoch, Fishers. They also have 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Romer's is located at 321 S. Eastern Ave. in St. Henry. The couple requests that gifts be omitted.[[In-content Ad]]
