Donations
The Fort Recovery Harvest Jubilee received enough money from the 2003 Jubilee, that the committee will give back $15,788 to the community of Fort Recovery.
The Fort Recovery Park Maintenance is slated to receive $8,000; the Park Improvement will receive $4,000; the Fort Recovery Foundation will receive $2,500; and the Friends of the Arts Program will get $1,000.
The 2004 Jubilee chairman is Tom Remaklus who will replace Greg Diller; secretary is Becky Hemmelgarn; treasurer is Renee Jutte; and advisor is Norb Metzger.
No date has been set for the 2004 Jubilee.

Other activities happening this week along with the Gas Engine and Tractor Show are a special open house Sunday at the Jay County Historical Museum, located at the end of East Main Street, Portland, and a quilt show at Arts Place today through Saturday.
The museum is hosting an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. featuring a new temporary antique farm display. Admission is free and donations are welcome.
The Stitch N’ Chatter Quilt Club Quilt Show is an exhibit of quilts, wall hangings, purses, clothing and more. Exhibit times are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Arts Place is located at 131 E. Walnut St., Portland. Admission is free.
Arrested
A Muncie man was arrested Wednesday by Indiana State Police for class D felony home improvement fraud.
A Jay Superior Court warrant was issued on June 6 for the arrest of Chuck A. Morrow, 35, 6901 E. Centennial Ave.
He is accused of taking more than $1,000 from an 83-year-old Redkey woman in February 2003.
As of this morning, Morrow was being held at the Jay County Jail on $3,000 bond.
Scheduled
The Redkey Town Council will meet in executive session followed by a special public meeting Saturday at town hall.
The executive session, to discuss personnel issues, will begin at 11 a.m. The executive session will be closed to the public.
The public meeting will follow.

James Habegger, 52, Geneva.
