Orville Davidson

Orville Davidson, 77, 5311 North 550 East, Bryant, died Wednesday in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home, Dunkirk.

Born in Jay County on July 6, 1926 to Ora and Mildred (Valentine) Davidson, he served with the U.S. Army. He married Kathy Potter on Sept. 1, 1972. She survives.

A farmer, he was a member of the Limberlost Coonhunters Club and the National Rifle Association.

Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Tim (Sharon) Shaw, Lancaster, Ohio, and Mrs. Jim (Linda) Heitkamp, and Mrs. Chad (Janet) Butcher, both of Bryant; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, with Pastor Kermit Geesaman presiding. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.

Visitation is Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and prior to services on Saturday.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Services are pending at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, for Fred K. Wehrly, 64, 8883 East 800 South, Union City, who died Wednesday night in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Audrey Crabtree

Services are pending at Brockman and Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, for Audrey Crabtree, 74, 402 N. First St., Fort Recovery, who died Wednesday morning at her home.[[In-content Ad]]
