Arrested for dealing
A rural Portland man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on two counts of dealing drugs.
Zachary T. Ingram, 22, 3033 East Treaty Line Road, was arrested on two preliminary charges of dealing in schedule II controlled substance, both class A felonies
In June 2010 Ingram allegedly sold morphine to a police informant. Police said Ingram sold hydrocodone to another informant in June 2010. A warrant for his arrest was issued May 19.
The arrest was made Wednesday around 3 p.m. by Portland police, with the assistance of county police.
Ingram is being held at the Jay County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Charged with theft
A rural Portland woman was arrested Wednesday evening on preliminary charges of theft, a class D felony.
Jamie R. Heaps, 20, 3033 East Treaty Line Road, was arrested on a warrant. She is accused of allegedly stealing several silver coins on May 21 from Jeff Eicher, 825 S. Bridge St., Portland.
Heaps is being held at the Jay County Jail on a $5,000 bond.[[In-content Ad]]
