Virginia Fink

Virginia Maxine Fink, 89, Yorktown, a Bryant native, died Sunday at Ball Memorial Hospital.
Born near Bryant to Chester and Ola (Manor) Callahan, she attended Poling School.
Her husband Rodney Fink survives.
She had worked at The Jay Garment Company in Portland.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Maryann) Gray, Yorktown, and Mrs. Paul (Janet) Dinstbier, O'Fallon, Ill.; a son, Steve Fink, Yorktown; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are Monday at 11 a.m. at Gant Funeral Home, Yorktown Chapel with Pastor David Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Hawk Cemetery, north of Yorktown.
Visitation is Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to the Little Red Door or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Letha Bechdolt

Services for Letha Marie Bechdolt, 96, Imperial, Neb., were held Friday in Colorado Springs, Colo. She died at Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial.
Born near Pennville to Elmer W. and Goldie M. (Bond) Batten, she was married on Sept. 20, 1930, in Portland to Robert Leon Bechdolt who preceded her in death.
She had worked at Standard Brush and Broom and The Jay Garment Company in Portland and was a member of the Eagles and VFW.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Percifiel, Imperial; a sister, Treva Renner, Portland; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Liewier Funeral Home in Colorado Springs was in charge of the arrangements.
Aldamae Steen
Oct. 19, 1936-June 26, 2008
Aldamae Steen, 71, 309 N. Meridian St., Bryant, died early today at her home.
Born in Jay County to Joseph and Martha (Corle) Smith, she attended Portland High School.
She was married on Dec. 13, 1952, to Harry Steen who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Leslie D. Steen, Bryant; a brother, Joseph I. Smith, Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services are Friday at 7 p.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with the Rev. John Gibson officiating. Burial of the cremains will take place at a later date.
Visitation is Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to State of the Heart Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
