Thomas Wallischeck
Thomas Alan Wallischeck, 47, Defiance, Ohio, died Wednesday at his residence. He was a Portland native.
Born to Robert M. and Helen J. (James) Wallischeck in Portland on Dec. 20, 1955, he was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He worked for Britt Industries, Wauseon, Ohio, for 10 years.
Surviving are his mother, Helen “Joan”, Defiance; two daughters, Candice and Katie Wallischeck, both of Defiance; two brothers, John Wallischeck, Fort Myers, Fla., and Michael Wallischeck, Wauseon.
Private services will be held with the Rev. Donald L. Luhring officiating at Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a trust fund for his daughters.
Jane Paul
Jane Uhrick Paul, 77, Bradenton, Fla., died Tuesday at her residence. She was a Redkey native.
Born on Nov. 18, 1925 in Redkey, she married Jim A. Paul who survives.
A member of the Order of the Eastern Star Halfway Chapter 230, Redkey, American Legion Auxiliary No. 227, Dunkirk, D.A.V. Auxiliary No. 18, Bradenton and V.F.W. Auxiliary No. 9226, Ellenton, Fla., she owned a beauty shop in Dunkirk for 30 years. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church, Dunkirk.
She moved to Bradenton in 1985 from Dunkirk.
Other survivors include two stepdaughters, Terri Rottner, Falls Church, Va., and Rebecca Paul, Jacksonville, Fla.; one stepson, Bobby Paul, Daytona Beach, Fla.; one sister, Joan E. Myers, Hoagland; and three grandchildren.
Private family services will be held with internment at Manasota Memorial Park, Bradenton.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
