Services for Betty Jean Phillips, 71, Monroe, Tenn., were held Monday in Livingston, Tenn. A former Redkey resident, she died Friday at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Tennessee.
Born in Fentress County, Tenn., she was the daughter of Arnold and Evadean (Smith) Miller.
She had worked as a grocery store clerk.
Survivors include her husband Chester Lee Phillips, Monroe; three daughters, Claressa Goodman (husband: George) and Stacey Hood both of Monroe, and Lisa Brant (husband: James), Richfield; a son, Kevin Phillips, Georgetown, Ill.; her mother, Evadean Miller, Redkey; a sister, Clara Beaty (husband: John), Redkey; two brothers, Arthur Miller (wife: Fran), Muncie, and Bobby Miller (wife: Alicha), Monroe; nine grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Speck Funeral Home in Livingston was in charge of the arrangements.
