Justin Florence

Services for Justin Matthew Florence, 22, 3454 North 850 East, Portland, are Friday at 10 a.m. at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home. He died Tuesday at Lima Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Randolph County, he was the son of Matthew and Lori (Florence) Young.
A 2007 graduate of Jay County High School, he worked for Cooper Farms in Fort Recovery and attended Westchester United Methodist Church.
He was an avid guitar player and played football for the Jay County Panthers semi-pro football team.
Surviving are his parents Matthew and Lori Young, Portland; a sister, Hannah Young, Portland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. today and one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Portland.

Rosalie McLaughlin

Rosalie McLaughlin, 88, 1928 North 350 West, Portland, died Wednesday at Jay County Hospital.
Born in Denver, to Frank and Gladys (Benedict) Rody, she was preceded in death on May 28, 1993, by her husband W. Keith McLaughlin, whom she married on Dec. 23, 1950.
A retired registered nurse, she had worked for Dr. Eugene Gillum and Dr. Badders, in administration at Jay County Hospital and was supervisor in the emergency room at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
Memberships include American Red Cross, American Legion Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce McLaughlin and Bryce McLaughlin, both of Portland; a daughter, Sue McLaughlin, Decatur; a brother, Paul David Rody, Denver; and three grandchildren.
Services are Monday at 10 a.m. at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Harris officiating. Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

A funeral Mass for Bertha M. Sanderell, 83, 1078 Ohio 119, Fort Recovery, is Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe, Ohio. She died Tuesday at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater, Ohio.
Born in Fort Recovery to Adolph and Ida (Reinhard) Sanderell, she was a 1946 graduate of Fort Recovery High School.
She retired from Second National Bank in Fort Recovery after 45 years of service and served on the Fort Recovery Library board and was treasurer of the Ambassador Club in Fort Recovery.
Memberships include Daughters of Isabella Circle 810, St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Sodality and Fort Recovery Historical Society.
Survivors include a brother, Tom Sanderell, Fort Recovery; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery. A Daughters of Isabella prayer service will be Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Michael A. Bee, 57, Muncie, died Monday in Henry County from heart complications while hunting.
Born in Muncie to Billy and Mary M. (Toloday) Bee, he is survived by his wife of 18 years Terry Bee.
Others surviving are a son, Shawn M. Bee (wife: Shelley), Portland; two stepsons; two sisters; a brother; two grandsons and six stepgrandchildren.
Services are Saturday at 1 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Cremation will take place.
Visitation is two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
Memorials may be sent to Delaware County Honor Guard.

Janice S. Evans, 68, Muncie, died Tuesday at Ball Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Born in Ridgeville to Willard and Isabelle (Sanders) Morrical, she was a 1960 graduate of Ridgeville High School.
She is survived by her husband of five years, Terry Evans.
Retiring in 1988, she had worked for MITS for 18 years.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Jerry Morrical and John Lee (wife: Amy); a daughter, Sheri Morrical; three stepsons, Eric Evans (wife: Traci), Kurt Evans (wife: Lori) and Aaron Evans (wife: Savannah); six grandchildren; a sister-in-law; a cousin and several nieces and nephews.
Services are Monday at 2 p.m. at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
