First Bank of Berne president Charles Isch announced this week that Tim Tobias, vice president and ag loan officer, was awarded a diploma at the commencement exercises from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Over the last three years Tobias took several courses that covered advanced study and research in banking, economics and leadership. His curriculum of study focused on the management of strategic issues faced by financial services industry executives.

Tobias has 18 year of lending experience and a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University School of Agriculture. He has worked with First Bank of Berne for more than 10 years, and his office is located at 102 W. Main St., Berne.

WERT NAMED VP

Bob Wert has been named the new vice president of RV sales, marketing and product planning at Workhorse Custom Chassis in Union City.

Wert has spent 23 years working in sales and marketing at Fleetwood Enterprises. Now, he will oversee the Workhorse sales and marketing efforts for the motor home chassis and product planning for both motor home and commercial truck chassis.

His background includes division director of sales, marketing and product planning and director of motor home sales while employed at Fleetwood. Most recently, he was project manager at the Enterprise level, where he improved internal and external business practices and helped redesign needed information technology.

NEW MASSAGE THERAPIST

Coldwater, Ohio resident Beth A. Seitz recently graduated from Self Health Institute Integrative Medical Massage School, and was licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board in August of 2003. In addition, Seitz will become a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

She recently joined the staff at Fort Fitness-N-More in Fort Recovery.

Seitz is authorized in the following fields: Swedish massage involving various techniques to manipulate the soft tissues and muscles of the body; clinical work to treat many structural and functional disorders; cranio-sacral methods; myoneural which treats the TemporoMandibular joint and cervical dysfunctions.

She is the daughter of Charles and Sue Seitz, Coldwater, Ohio.

The Performance Accountability Committee of the East Central Indiana Workforce Investment Board will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the WorkOne Center, 201 E. Charles St., conference room A in the lower level.

The Budget and Administration Committee of the East Central Indiana Workforce Investment Board will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Muncie WorkOne Center, in the first floor training room.
