Longtime Jay County residents Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kennedy, 1017 W. Main St., Portland, are celebrating their 50th anniversary today.
Tom married Linda Howard on Nov. 28, 1959.
Linda retired as clerk treasurer for the city of Portland and from Crossroads Financial Federal Credit Union and Tom retired from Portland Forge.
The couple are the parents of Mrs. Roger (Charlene) Theurer, Carol Kennedy and Mrs. Ron (Christina) Harris. They have 11 grandchildren.
They are planning a family gathering.
