Two job fairs scheduled

Ivy Tech Community College is hosting two job fairs in early November.
On Friday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a job fair at the Henry County Ivy Tech campus, 3325 S. Memorial Drive, New Castle.
On Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a job fair at the Muncie Cowan Road Ivy Tech campus in the North Instructional Building’s rooms 531/533. Both job fairs are free and open to the public. To make the most of the event, participants should consider attending a pre-session to work on resumes.
Sessions will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 3 p.m in the South Instructional Building of the Muncie Cowan Road campus in room 121.

Conference call set
Franklin Electric Co., Fort Wayne, will release its third quarter 2013 earnings report at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, via a conference call and webcast.

Sorghum to China
The first-ever bulk shipment of U.S. sorghum arrived in China for unloading on Friday, the U.S. Grains Council announced. The shipment of 2.36 million bushels is designated for animal feed.

Meeting set
