Two named to dean's list
Taking Note
Curtis Daniel Foreman made the dean’s list at Purdue University for the first semester in the 2004-05 school year with a 4.0.
He is the son of Rhea Holcomb and Michael Foreman, both of Portland.
Jennifer Chittum made the dean’s list at the University of Indianapolis.
She is majoring in accounting and is the daughter of Vince Chittum and Teresa Chittum, both of Redkey.
OFFICERS REELECTED
The Jay County Historical Society re-elected the same officers from 2004 at its December board meeting. Kay Locker is president, vice-president is Larry Bubp and second vice-president is Ralph May. Also secretary is Jane Spencer, treasurer is Ralph Grapner and Bill Gilpin is membership secretary.
Members are needed for committees in 2005, including building and grounds, finance, museum, publicity, audit, fundraising, program, nominating and library. Any member interested in serving should call Kay Locker at (260) 726-7331.
The address has been changed for the museum.
