Wades celebrate 40th
Pastor David and Sue Wade, 3560 E. Ind. 26, Portland, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday with an open house from noon to 3 p.m. at the Family Worship Center Fellowship Hall, 200 E. Elder St., Portland.
David married Sue Gill on July 28, 1973, at Calvary Apostolic Church in Sullivan. David is from Sullivan and Sue is from Murphysboro, Ill.
Sue is an insurance agent and office manager at Bixler Insurance in Portland and David has been pastor of Family Worship Center in Portland for 28 years and is fitness director at Jay Community Center.
The couple are the parents of Melissa McKinnies (husband: Jason), Herrin, Ill., and Nate Wade, Tampa, Fla. They also have two grandchildren.[[In-content Ad]]
