Walkers celebrate 50th
Wesley and Sharon Walker, 214 W. Lafayette St., Portland, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
Wesley, a native of West Virginia, married Sharon Weaver on Nov. 3, 1962, in Portland.
Sharon retired from E.P.C. in Geneva and Wesley retired from New Idea in Coldwater, Ohio.
They are the parents of Sherry Best (husband: Larry), Pennville, Jim Walker (wife: Cristi), Union City, Ohio, Sandy Shawver (husband: Jeff), Donna Walker, Billie Wallace (husband: Mike), and Wesley “Whistle” Walker, all of Portland. They also have 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
