Accused of maintaining
A rural Portland man was arrested Tuesday by Indiana State Police on felony and misdemeanor charges.
Michael D. Bisel, 33, 1237 North U.S. 27, Lot 120, was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance, a class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor. He was arrested on a Jay Superior Court warrant issued Monday.
During a search at his house on Jan. 30, police allegedly found that he possessed devices used to smoke controlled substances.
Bisel was being held in the Jay County Jail this morning on an $8,000 bond. His bond is high because he is on probation for a crime he committed in Adams County.[[In-content Ad]]
