Felony arrests

Accused of driving

A rural Portland man was arrested this morning by Jay County police for allegedly driving after his license had been suspended for life.

Bradley W. Roth, 53, 1096 South 500 West, was arrested for driving after being adjudged a habitual traffic offender, a class C felony, and driving while intoxicated, a class A misdemeanor.

Roth was pulled over at county road 200 North and Ind. 1. Police had received a complaint that he was trespassing on someone's property. Jay County police then allegedly determined that his license was suspended for life and he was intoxicated.

Roth was being held in the Jay County Jail this morning on a $30,000 bond.

Arrested for fraud

A Geneva woman was arrested on a warrant Tuesday for allegedly attempting to use her ex-husband's credit card.

Theresa M. Cunningham, 44, 295 S. Hale St., was arrested by Jay County police for fraud, a class D felony. She was arrested on a Jay Superior Court warrant issued April 14.

On Dec. 23, she allegedly attempted to use the card in Jay County.

Cunningham was released from the Jay County Jail Tuesday on a $3,000 bond.[[In-content Ad]]
