Thursday

SENIOR CITIZENS CARD CLUB — Will meet the first and third Thursday of the month at 12:30 p.m. at Jay Community Center. All seniors are welcome.
STITCH ‘N CHATTER QUILT CLUB — Will meet Thursday, Oct. 21, at Church of the Brethren, Portland, at 1 p.m. Bring completed Christmas ornaments, the past completed block of the month and a new block will be explained and pattern given.
THE EN AVANT CLUB — Will meet Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pennville I.D.C. Restaurant. The hostess is Kay Hough. The theme is “Yesterday” with programs by Carolyn Paxson and Barbara Lawrence.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY — a 12-step Christian recovery program for anyone dealing with chemical dependency, anger, physical and emotional abuse, sexual addiction, divorce, food addiction, gambling addiction, same sex attraction, debt, anxiety or stress, the group will meet each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Portland First Church of the Nazarene, 920 S.
