VINCENNES - A Jay County High School graduate helped key the Muncie Chiefs American Legion baseball team in 18-7 and 13-3 victories over Evansville and Robinson, Ill., this weekend in the Vincennes Tournament.
Billy Wellman, who graduated from JCHS this month, racked up six RBIs in the second game for Muncie. He also had an RBI in game one.
Ludy singles in win
WAUSAU, Wisc. - Josh Ludy came up with a hit Sunday as the Wisconsin Woodchucks defeated the La Crosse Loggers 4-2.
The 2008 Jay County High School graduate's single was one of nine hits for the Woodchucks. He also had a walk in Saturday's 5-4 loss to La Crosse.[[In-content Ad]]
