Wendels celebrate 50th
John and Mary Ann Wendel will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday at 5 p.m. with a Mass of Thanksgiving at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Fort Recovery.
John married Mary Ann Fiely on Oct. 3, 1959, at St. Francis Church in Cranberry Prairie, Ohio, with the Rev. Alex Linneman, C.P.P.S., officiating.
Mr. and Mrs. Wendel are the parents of four children, Mrs. David (Pam) Hicks, Gary Wendel, Randy Wendel and Mrs. Dan (Joyce) Wilker, all of Fort Recovery. They also have nine grandchildren.
An open house will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. at Romer's Catering in St. Henry, Ohio[[In-content Ad]]
