West Jay academic team wins

Taking note

The English team at West Jay Middle School were state champions at the 2012 Academic Super Bowl - Junior Division.

Book signing
A reading and book signing will be held Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Limberlost State Historic Site in Geneva.
Ronald Woodward, the author of “Wabash County Chronicles: Raucous, Quirky, and Essential Tales” and Joe Krom, the author of “Heart of a Warrior: The True Saga of Sweet Breeze and William Wells” will be the guests for the event.

Auditions
Jay County Civic Theatre, Inc. is holding auditions for “El Phantismo” on Monday, May 21, through Wednesday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m.
The show will be presented July 18 through 21.
Graduates
Three Jay County High School graduates received  degrees from Huntington University on Saturday.
Megan Adams, Portland, earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations.
Zach Keller, Portland, earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics education.
Jill Roughia, Bryant, earned a Master of Education in adolescent and young adult education.
