Whites celebrate 50th (09/26/06)
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond White, Redkey, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house, given by their children, on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Family Worship Center, 200 East Elder St., Portland.
Raymond, formerly of Dunkirk, married Edna Stoner of Salamonia on Sept. 30, 1956, at The First Pentecostal Church in Dunkirk.
Edna serves as secretary for Pastor David Wade at the Family Worship Center and her husband retired from Borg Warner in Muncie.
They are the parents of four children, Suanna Campbell, Tullahoma, Tenn.; Patricia Wohlford, Wabash; Cynthia Hinds, Muncie; and Timothy White, Redkey. They have 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
