Wilsons celebrate 50th
Arthur A. and Lavonne E. Wilson, Independence, Ky., are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
They were married on March 22, 1963, at Ludlow Hill Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg.
Arthur is a graduate of Portland High School and his mother Mabel (Mills) Wilson Beard lives in Portland. He retired in 2003 as senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Middletown, Ohio, after 33 years.
Lavonne retired as a teacher from Middletown Christian School in 2004.
They are the parents of Andrew Wilson, Martin, Tenn., and Jennifer Wilson, Georgetown, Ky. They also have two grandchildren.
