WJ honor roll released (4/13/05)

These students made the honor roll at West Jay Middle School for the third nine week grading period.

Making the sixth grade A honor roll was Brooke Byers. Those making the sixth grade A-B honor roll were Tiffany Bost, Taylor Burris, Dezera Clay, Tyler Claycomb, Talir Ellis, Haley Franklin, Candra Garrett, Spencer Grady, Austin Harris, Anthony Skeens, Dakota Steed and Damon White.

Making the seventh grade A honor roll were Dillon Easton and Paige Panelli. Students making the seventh grade A-B honor roll were Cheyenne Bowser, Randy Brenner, Charles Burress, Dillon Corn, Brittany Crawmer, Christian Fischer, Whitney Ford, Kayla Halsey, Kami Hicks, Laura Homan, Wil Masters, Brittany Muhlenkamp, Sarah Myers, Rachel Reff, Josh Roush, Brandi Street, Brittney Watson.

DEAN’S LIST

John Gilbert, Portland, has been named to the dean’s list in the Indiana University College of Arts and Sciences for the fall semester of 2004.

WORKSHOPS

The Journalism Institute for Digital Education, Activities and Scholarship “J-Ideas” has received funding to conduct four workshops about high school newspapers. The workshops will cover advertising, circulation and distribution, promotion and marketing, and budgeting and are for students, teachers, advisors and administrators.

SWAP, TRADE DAY

The Limberlost Coon Hunters club will host a swap and trade day on Saturday, April 23 (not May 23) at 6 a.m.

Poultry, game birds, rabbits and other small animals will be available.

There is no admission fee for the event, which will be held at the clubhouse at 39 West 750 North in Bryant.
