WJMS honor roll announced (11/10/04)
Taking Note
West Jay Middle School in Dunkirk recently announced its honor roll for the first nine weeks grading period.
Making the sixth grade A honor roll was Brooke Byers, Tyler Claycomb and Dakota Steed.
Sixth grade students making the A-B honor roll were Jessica Bumbalough, Taylor Burris, Branden Dishman, Talir Ellis, Candra Garrett, Deniann Hough, Anneliese Jetmore, Kyli Kelso, Kaitlyn McDaniel, Ryan Miskinis, Garry Munday, Kimberly Nibarger, Samantha Rhodehamel, Anthony Skeens, Carly Weaver, Winona Westlake, Damon White and Kendra Younger.
Seventh grade A honor roll students were Brittany Crawmer, Josh Roush and Sarah Shrack.
Making the A-B honor roll for seventh grade was Isaac Beaty, Kylee Bell, Cierra Clauson, Michael A. Daniels, Dillon Easton, Whitney Ford, Kayla Halsey, Wil Masters, Willie Mayfield, Sarah Myers, Paige Panelli and Brittney Watson.
Eighth grade A honor roll student was Sarah Garringer.

Students of the month for October at West Jay Middle School were six grader Brock Barcus, son of Kevin and Wanda Barcus; seventh grader Brittany Crawmer, daughter of Donald and Sherry Crawmer, and John Fraley, an eighth grader and son of Alan and Mary Fraley.
OPEN HOUSE
The Fort Recovery Public Library will have a Christmas open house on Sunday, Nov. 14, from noon to 5 p.m. during the Fort Recovery Community Christmas Open House.
The Fort Pioneer 4-H Club will have crafts and stories for children in the upstairs room. There will be a book fair, and bell choir Carillon Kaleidoscope will perform.
The library’s theme for the holidays is “A Teddy Bear Christmas” and anyone wishing to display a favorite bear may do so. Call the library at (419) 375-2869 for more information.
NATIONAL HOSPICE MONTH
In honor of the nation’s 3,300 hospice programs, November has been declared National Hospice Month. Hospice programs provide quality and compassionate care to 950,000 patients nationwide.
Tammy Fox, State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice executive director for Coldwater, Portland and Greenville offices, said this month provides an opportunity to raise awareness of available care options for those who are facing or may face a health crisis.
The office provided care for close to 500 patients last year, including physicians, nurses, home health aides, social workers, chaplains, bereavement specialists and volunteers.
