WJMS pins 5 in loss (02/26/08)

GENEVA - The Eagles came up with five pins, but still fell Monday night.
South Adams Middle School's wrestling team edged West Jay 46-41.
Jacob Harter turned in an impressive effort for WJMS in the 175-pound match, scoring a pin in just eight seconds. Carrolton Fisher added a pin in 45 seconds at 110 pounds.
Other pins came from Travis Callahan (145) in 1-minute, 38 seconds, Chase Louck (105) in 1:43 and Lucas Wiemer (135) in 1:57.
Raistlin Rice (85) and Nathan Drumm (125) each won by major decision with scores of 10-0 and 15-3 respectively. Jesse Finnerty (90) eked out a 5-4 win.[[In-content Ad]]
