Lester and Marjorie Zimmerman
Former Portland residents Lester and Marjorie Zimmerman, Berne, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in May.
Lester married Marjorie Bixler on May 16, 1942, in Piqua, Ohio, with the Rev. Norman Zimmerman officiating.
Lester presented a Saturday morning gospel sing on WPGW radion in Portland for 40 years.
They are the parents of Joyce Ann Harrold (husband: Bill), Berne.
